Other Relevant Information
- Dr.
Peter Chen was one of the key persons who lead the Computer-Aided Software
Engineering (CASE) movement in the late 80’s that changed the landscape of
the software industry. He was one
of the two keynote speakers in the 1st CASE Symposium (2/24-26,
’87, Atlanta), which was viewed as a starting point of the CASE movement
and attracted 1,000 professionals, about 5 times more than expected. A TV
program, “Windows on Wall Street,” had an
interview with Dr. Chen after his keynote speech on “ER is coming! What
should you do about it?” (To view the video, click slow connection or fast connection.)
