Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology
(JASIST) Perspectives

In 1980, JASIST, under the Editorship of Charles Meadow, started a series of special issues known as Perspectives for the Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology (JASIST). This series was started by Susan Crawford and also by Alan Rees. For the last twenty plus years, it has been continued by the current JASIST Associate Editor for Perspectives, Lois F. Lunin. The credit for the success of this popular JASIST feature is theirs.
