LIS 7008 - Information Technologies
Summer 2009 - Section 02
This page contains instructional resources for the students in section 02 of LIS 7008.
Information may change until the course begins.
Caution: this is a core course of the MLIS program; it aims to fill
American Library Association's technological requirements on information professionals and
to lay a technological foundation to many advanced courses at SLIS, therefore is very intensive and extensive,
even in a regular Spring or Fall semester. Since the summer semester is very short, you are expected to spend
significant amount of time in this course (see the bottom of Course Description),
otherwise you will very likely fail. Simply put, this is NOT an easy summer crash course.
Actually you will probably have to manage your time, intelligence, and emotion really effectively in order to pass
this challenging summer course.
